Cheedamaster is a clothing brand based out of Nigeria that claims to have a non-corporate, artistic view and has an exciting, visionary, charismatic, courageous, spiritual personality. The owner reached out to me in search of a Football Jersey Design that encapsulated a Nigerian feel whilst also having individuality at the forefront of the jersey itself.
The design I came up with was an instant hit with the client and he was over the moon. I incorporated important colours for Nigeria like Green but then also when you look back at different Nigeria Jerseys through the years a lot of them had the old Nigerian Football Federation badge which had red on it and then the black and the beige work really well with both, so, it just made sense. Also, the most important reference to Nigeria was of course the big eagle on the front as the Nigerian football team are referred to as the Super Eagles.
